The Gallery Players makes every effort to accommodate patrons with disabilities. If you have difficulty with stairs or are in a wheelchair, you should know that there are three steps up from the street to the theater door, and a short flight of steps that lead downstairs to the theater. There are also three steps which lead to our elevator (which is accessed from a separate location). Upon advanced request, our theater staff can help take you downstairs in the elevator, and then escort you to the audience seats. There is also a wheelchair ramp located at the back of the building which is accessible by traveling around the block and entering from 13th Street.

Inside the theater, the cushioned audience seats are on risers, with the first row on the level of the floor. When you make a reservation, we can reserve a seat in this front row for you. If you are in a wheelchair, we can remove one of the seats, and make room for you there. In any case, we will do everything we can to make your visit comfortable. We also have wheelchair accessible restrooms.

To help us prepare to help you, please call our information line at (718) 595-0547 x1 at least 3 days prior to your visit, and mention that you require assistance and the date of your reservation. This way we can be ready to assist you when you arrive. Note: this phone line is also our subscriber reservation line. If you are not a subscriber, you must pre-purchase your tickets in order to secure a seat.
